2015 Chrysler 200 Drops Jaws in Detroit
There’s been a lot of rumor and speculation about what Chrysler would be bringing to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and, finally, reveals have been made and minds have been blown. The biggest of which that just happened a few hours ago, today being the first day of the show, is the unveiling of the 2015 model year of the Chrysler 200 mid-sized sedan. And we have lots of details just for you to get you salivating.
Organized and luxurious, the exterior redesign of the 2015 200 is the first thing you’ll notice and it’s truly wonderful. Taking notes from successful luxury cars but with a distinct Chrysler flair, it truly stands out at a vehicle fans of all makes and models would be proud to be seen in. Smooth curves with bold lines and creases, we can find nary a fault in its new look.
With an Alfa Romeo-derived architecture, the 200 offers segment-first all-wheel drive with rear axle disconnect to save on fuel when needed. On a nine-speed automatic transmission, power comes from one of two engine choices. Drivers can choose the 2.4-liter Tiger Shark four-cylinder achieving 184 horsepower, or can elect for a beefier 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that boasts a big 296 horsepower kick.
But that’s just barely scratching the tip-top layer of the surface; there’s so much more to learn and if you come down to Ray Brandt Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we’ll tell you all about the 200 and what it can offer you. If any of our current new Chrysler models catch your eye while you’re at our Harvey, LA location, we’ll answer all your questions and set you up with a test drive you’ll not soon forget.
