Next Generation Wrangler Has Us All Guessing
Fiat Chrysler has released its five year plan and in that plan is the release of the next generation of the Jeep Wrangler. With that being said, there are only small whispers here and there of what is to come for the Wrangler.
A few of these whispers include a power retractable top that has us excited and confused at the same time. Will it be a soft-top, sliding canvas rollback? A convertible-like soft-top? A convertible-like hard top? Will it be on four-door models? Two-door models? The mystery is killing us.
Some things to look forward to for this fourth generation Wrangler are the new safety features while keeping it geared to the off-roaders. This means that while it will stay true to its tough nature with removable doors and axles made for those rugged adventures, it will no longer feature folding windshields or, possibly, a full size spare tire on the back. This means better safety ratings, less complex structure, and less curb weight.
One thing we know we can count on seeing in the next-generation Wrangler is the current models iconic style. Throughout the years, the Jeep Wrangler has always offered a rugged, sculpted style that is unmatched by any other SUV.
