What are the Uconnect® Features?

  • Available 4G Wi-Fi®: Working through a road trip while your friend drives? No problem! You’ll have access to email and whatever else you need to get your job done on the go, from inside of or within 50 feet of your vehicle. Do note that you’ll be able to take a test run with a free trial, and after that, you can purchase day passes or a subscription.
  • Navigation: With Uconnect® Navigation, you’ll be confident in new-to-you areas with 3D-generated maps, and with turn-by-turn directions, you’ll never miss your exit. Utilize SiriusXM® Traffic Plus and Travel Link to enhance your experience with the latest weather and traffic reports.
  • Entertainment: If you’re opting for a larger truck or SUV from CDJR, you’ll gain access to Uconnect® Theater. Your antsy passengers will remain entertained with the ability to watch movies, play video games, and go online with a dual 10-inch touchscreen, complete with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

Can You Turn Uconnect® Off?

Understandably, some drivers only want the basics in their cabin. While Uconnect® is always on when your vehicle is running, you do have the ability to mute or turn off certain parts. Just for starters, one could easily mute the radio and shut the screen off! There’s also an easy way to get a break from inbound text messages:

  • Press the “Phone” button, then, “setup, incoming SMS message announcement.”
  • Finally, respond “yes” when prompted with the option to turn SMS announcements off.

Although you won’t be able to turn off Uconnect® in its entirety, you can always turn off specific features that you find distracting.
